Brew at the Zoo is Back!

After a two year hiatus, a new favorite local tradition features regional craft beer and bands

PUEBLO, Colo. (March 2, 2022) – Sip craft beverages, enjoy live music, and snack on local gourmet street eats next to some of the rarest animals on the planet. Brew at the Zoo is the wildest brew fest in Colorado and every ticket sold helps the Pueblo Zoo care for exotic and endangered animals locally and around the globe.

Stroll through the event and you may find yourself inches from an African lion…or trying your hand at a feat of strength with an oak barrel. Brew at the Zoo will feature live music and unique games throughout the event. For your inner foodie, there will be gourmet food trucks from throughout Colorado.

Cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID, the Pueblo Zoo’s 5th Brew at the Zoo will be relaunched in 2022.

“We have gotten a lot of feedback that this has become a real local favorite and the community has missed it during the pandemic. We look forward to loads of fun and getting people back together again,” says Executive Director, Abbie Krause. “The brewing community and brew events like ours are trying to get their footing back after a rough couple of years so tickets will be limited to 500 this year. People will need to act fast as we expect to sell out.” Exhibitors are still joining the ranks of the event. As of today, guests can look forward to tasting from the following brewers: Avery Brewing Company, Apple Valley Cider Co, Brues Alehouse Brewing Company, Epic Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Company, Holidaily Brewing Company, Red Swing Brewhouse, San Luis Valley Brewing Company, Shamrock Brewing Co, Square Peg Brewerks, Walter’s Beer, Weldwerks Brewing, World’s End Brewing Company.

The event will take place April 30th, from 2:00pm- 6:00pm. Tickets available at https://www.pueblozoo.org/b rew
