Town of Rye has New Trustee and Plant Operator Assistant

In an emergency Town of Rye Board meeting on November 1, the board instructed Town Clerk Jocelyn Mower to schedule interviews with all applicants who submitted a resume for the Water Treatment Plant Operator Assistant on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

During the November 8, Colorado City Metropolitan District board meeting, it was revealed that the Parks and Recreation Department, under the leadership of Josh Briggs, is moving forward with plans to upgrade the Rec Center.

On November 19, at 11:00 a.m., with a projected temperature of 40 degrees, the Sixth Annual Maggie Drew Peters Memorial Plunge will take place at Lake Beckwith in Colorado City to raise money for Rye High School scholarships.
