Community Garden Welcomes New Coordinator

The Volunteers for Community (VFC) are excited to announce that Margie Knight has taken on the role of coordinator for the 2026 Community Garden. Knight, who was one of the founders of the original Community Garden, expressed her enthusiasm for returning to this role.

Metro Prepares for Final Painting of Water Tank #1

The Colorado City Metro District (CCMD) conducted their first meeting for the month of March on the 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the CCMD meeting room. Four of the five board members were present in person and the fifth board member was present on Zoom.

Although the Lascar Fire is still an active investigation, Collin Bates and Jana Dunn were arrested on March 3, 2026, for their alleged role in that wildfire. Both face multiple felony arson and criminal mischief charges.
