CCMD Tables a Pair of Water Issues Due to Lack of Information

Two significant agenda items, both dealing with water, were moved to the next meeting while members of the Colorado City Metro District (CCMD) Board of Directors searched for additional information at their regular meeting on July 29th. All five board members were present.

Eighteen wildfires are burning in Colorado as of Tuesday morning. The largest one is the South Rim Fire 21.2 miles SE of Austin (near Montrose). As of 8:22 on Tuesday, evacuations remain in place in Montrose County due to the fire raging in Black Canyon in Gunnison National Park.
