Young Cross Country Team has Chance for State Qualifying Says Head Coach

TJ Blackhurst is in his 11th year as Head Coach of the cross-country team at Rye High School. In addition to cross country, Blackhurst will be coaching the girl’s basketball team this year. The boy’s cross-country team has nine members this season.

CCMD Board Rejects Proposed Tap Increase

A motion to raise Colorado City tap fees failed to pass the Colorado City Metropolitan District Board of Directors at the August 30 meeting. The proposed motion was to raise the tap fees from the current $16,500 to $20,000.
