PUEBLO
Lions, tigers, and bears... and reptiles, birds, amphibians, and just about any other kind of critter you could dream of seeing. Pueblo Zoo invites everyone out to spend a great summer day strolling their paths and visiting their animal family. Best of all, they are offering this opportunity at the cost of just one dollar on Saturday, July 15.
That’s right, the Pueblo Zoo and Bridges Child Placement Agency are pleased to announce Dollar Day at the Pueblo Zoo on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Please note, the dollar entry will end promptly at 1:00 pm. All guests must be in line by 1:00 p.m. and be present at purchase to receive a $1 entry. No other discounts apply.
Admission is for a full day of fun at the zoo for all ages but the Zoo suggests that you arrive early to beat the heat. There may be wait times at entry due to the popularity of this event.
Overflow parking is available throughout City Park, at the tennis courts, and at the City Park pool.
Due to the large number of expected guests and to reduce the stress on the animals, the Rainforest will be closed on Dollar Day. Some animals may be absent from their exhibit at any given time due to introductions of new species, medical care, newborns, animal choice, or maintenance.
While the Pueblo Zoo wants everyone to enjoy the zoo and have a great time; they do have a few rules that have to be followed. Picnics are welcome; but no glass containers. There is also a seasonal café open varying hours from Spring Break through Labor Day to purchase food and beverages. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at The Den after ID has been verified, with only 1 drink per ID. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Swimwear must be sufficiently covered. Offensive or provocative items on clothing or swimwear are prohibited. Costumes or disguises that conceal identity are not permitted.
Only Service Animals, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are allowed at the park. For the safety of our animals and our guests' weapons (concealed or not), are not permitted on these premises.
