Birthdays and Anniversaries - The Rye Woman's Club manages these and there is a small fee of just a couple bucks to have a birthday or anniversary put on the calendar. They also appear on the Rye Woman's Club printed calendar. All proceeds go to the Rye Woman's Club and are used for scholarships to young women graduating from Rye High School. Other events

  • Events that are completely free to the public and are not promotional events for a money-making venture may be listed on the Happenings Calendar at no charge.
  • If your event is a fundraiser for an individual or family who needs assistance and is living in the Greenhorn Valley the event will be listed for free.
  • If your event charges an admission fee, charges vendors to sell stuff, is a sales or promotional event for your business or is a fund raiser for an organization it may be listed in the Happenings Calendar for free if it is advertised in the printed edition of the Greenhorn Valley View.
  • If your event does not fit into one of these categories the event may be listed in the Happenings Calendar for just $9.
