The Rye Thunderbolt baseball team traveled to District playoffs at Olathe last Saturday and ended up on the wrong side of the score 9-4. The T-bolts had an early lead but were outgunned by their opponents who eventually went on to win the tournament.
The Thunderbolts ended the season with a 12-7 record. This is the best record the Bolts have had in 3A since 1997. The locals lose only two starters to graduation: Carlos Chacon and Cameron Reeves.
Coach Greg Reeves wishes to thank fans for their great support.
