Volleyball Team Continues Winning Ways

Libero #14 Ashlynn Romine had 33 combined passes and digs and 3 errors against John Mall in an away conference match where Rye swept them 3-0 on Sept. 25. The T-Bolts had a home conference match against Crowley County on Sept. 29 with a 3-1 win where Romine had 55 passes and digs. For both games she served 14 serves with 3 of them being aces.

The Rye High School Volleyball team continued their winning ways downing John Mall 3-0 and Crowley County 3-1. That ups the T-Bolts record to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in league action.

Against John Mall on the 25th on their home court the Thunderbolts dispatched the visitors 25-18, 25-12, and 25-20. Hannah Ambler had 12 kills in the contest and Courtney Proctor added a half dozen kills on her own.

Rachel Shaffer had two aces, 16 digs, and 10 serve receptions. Ashlynn Romine also had a pair of service aces and 21 service returns. Madison Gookin led the team with seven blocks. Ella Peters had five blocks and 14 assists and Jami Ortiz led the team with 20 assists.
