The Rye High School Girls kept the Alamosa Maroons down to 2 with their 24 steals on defense. The Rye Girls Soccer team played against the Alamosa Maroons on Tuesday April 3. The final score the game was 0-2, ending with a loss for the Thunderbolts.

The defense for the thunderbolts pulled away with 24 steals. Andy Mallo and Shylah Marquez both ended with 5 steals each. Followed by Rylee Fox with 4 and AJ Ramos with 3. The Thunderbolt goalie was the player of the game for this hard fought game, Moriah Holt worked hard in the goal blocking 12 attempts made by Alamosa.

The Rye Thunderbolts continued their hard work. The girls went on to play the Ellicott Thunderhawks, on Saturday April 7th. The final score of the game was 10-0, with the thunderbolts first mercy rule win of the season.
