The 2012 edition of the “Women’s Day in the Valley” will take place on August 11th at the Colorado City KOA Recreational Hall from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. This is the third year of the event. It is sponsored by the Greenhorn Valley Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Manicures, makeovers, massage, door prizes, a chocolate fountain, wine tasting, plus exhibits displays, demonstrations and lunch will give participants a little “me time”. There will also be live entertainment from local artists. Sonny Hood will be performing and as of press time more acts were being finalized.

An estimated twenty or thirty vendors will showcase health and wellness products and services.

Jeannie Medina chairperson of the event and chamber board member is excited about the event. “Attendance at this event continues to grow and has exceeded our expectation every year. Attendees and vendors alike have a great time,” she said. “It’s an opportunity for women of all ages to enjoy a fun filled day of laughter, camaraderie, great entertainment and great food.”
