Jeff Chostner, current District 3 County Commissioner, won the District Attorney primary and is unopposed in the general election. That gives the Pueblo Democratic County Central Committee ten days after Chostner resigns his position for the 200 Democratic Party officers and precinct chairman to appoint someone to complete Chostner’s term.

“I won’t consider myself elected district attorney until after the November general election so I won’t officially resign my commission seat until sometime after that,” said Chostner.

Ron Greenwell, Democratic County Chairman, is asking interested people to send him a letter of intent.
