On Thursday July 5th Deputy Rude responded to a call in Beulah on a possible fire. The call came in at about 4 a.m. By the time the deputy arrived the deck fire had been fully contained by the Beulah fire department.
The owners of the property had used their grill the night before and it may not have been shut off completely. Damage was estimated at $20,300.
On July 4th Deputy Ruda answered a possible fireworks call in the Beulah area. Upon arrival deputies found 70-80 underage people drinking. The party goers fled when the deputies were noticed. The son of the homeowner was questioned and the owner was contacted.
The owner said nothing was missing and did not want to press charges. He did want all of the vehicles off of his property. The registered owners of the vehicles were called.
The owner of the home said his residence had been burglarized several months earlier after a similar incident. The home was placed on a property watch list.
A person reported their car stolen on July 1st. After the car was returned to the owner he decided not to press charges.
On June 27th deputies received a burglary call at a residence. The inside and outside of the residence was checked and no evidence of forced entry was found. The area was searched and no one was located.
