In a story in the Pueblo Chieftain last week Jack, Bob, Charles and Jim Harbert- four brothers- have all been married at least 50 years. The family moved to Pueblo from their native Indianapolis, via a short stint in California in 1946.

Their deceased parents, Charles and Ruth Harbert were married 63 years.

All four graduated from Central High in Pueblo and when asked the secret to a happy marriage, the oldest of the brothers, Jack simply replied, “Don’t ever go to bed mad.”
