On July 5, the Colorado City Metropolitan District enacted level two water restrictions for Colorado City. The restrictions eliminate any watering between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday anyone on the north side of Highway 165 may water for a maximum of two hours.

On the south side of Highway 165 the two hour watering periods are on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Drip irrigation and hand watering is allowed at any time.

At the CCMD meeting on July 10 the issue was further discussed. Individuals with questions can call 676-3396.
