Although we do not have the records for Colorado City, it’s not your imagination if you think “It’s hot!”. The National Weather Service reported that for the first time in the history of weather being recorded in Pueblo, the thermometer passed the 100 degree mark for 10 days in a row (June 22nd thru July 1st).
In June the temperature topped 100 in Pueblo on 12 different occasions which is also a new heat record. The average daily temperature in Pueblo last month was 95.8 degrees. The average temperature, including lows, was 77 degrees which is 7 degrees above normal.
Pueblo recorded 107 degrees on June 24, which was only one degree off the all time high mark of 108 degrees. It’s hot!
