I realize that by the time this goes to print, the election will be over with, but I cannot help but make a statement regarding the signs I have seen about town. Do the people of Colorado realize that defacing and pulling up political signs is a crime, with heavy fines if caught. Apparently they do not care. Since returning to our summer home I have seen many of Bob Cook and Bill Ellis signs written on and covered up by so called people who claim "for a concerned commuity". They do not even sign thier name. I cannot wonder why? I have never met Bill Ellis and would not know him if I seen him. I do know who Bob Cook is as he owns property in Applewood and I have seen his signs as a realtor. I had no opinion as to who would make the best representatives for our CCMD, but I can tell you I voted for Bob Cook and Bill Ellis, simply because of the defacing of thier signs. SOMEONE IS REALLY RUNNING SCARED TO DO DAMAGE TO OTHERS POLITICAL SIGNS.
