On the 29th of December at about 7:45 p.m. Deputy Anthony D. Gonzales contacted a reporting party by phone in regard to lost license plates from a Colorado City address. During the call Deputy Gonzales discovered two vehicles had lost their rear license plates.

The reporting party reported the loss had occurred in the last two weeks. The RP had no idea where the plates had been lost.

The plates were reported to NCIC/CCIC.

On December 30 at about 9:50 a.m. deputies were dispatched to Rye Mountain Park on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The reporting party indicated they had observed a lack ATV and a small camping trailer in the area for about four days, despite the no camping rule.
