Adjust story text size:
Retired Air Force Veteran Charlie Ehler (pronounced A-ler), Fountain, Colorado, is running for the Senate seat currently held by Michael Bennett because he asserts that, “We the people have gotten short shrifted by the Federal Government." The twentyone year military veteran who also worked as a systems engineer for General Dynamics in Turkey and Iraq from 2000-2006 is tired of the Constitution of the United States being ignored. “Congress had abrogated their job,” insists Ehler. “The Federal Government is operating outside of the Constitution. Too many regulatory agencies have been created and make laws that aren’t getting legislative approval. Article 1 Section 1 of the Constitution says legislation originates in the Congress-not in a created agency.” For the entire article please subscribe to the Greenhorn Valley View for just $35 per year.
